All eyes were on Kathryn Bernardo and Nadine Lustre, whose chummy interactions at the ABS-CBN Ball 2025 proved how female friendships stand strong in the entertainment industry.
With their hands placed on each other’s backs, Bernardo and Lustre exchanged hugs and engaged in banter throughout the star-studded gala at the Solaire North on Friday, April 4, as seen in posts on ABS-CBN and Star Cinema’s social media platforms.

Bernardo and Lustre also hammed it up for the camera, doing a series of poses ranging from cute to fierce. It was apparent they enjoyed each other’s company since they laughed throughout the shoot.

Bernardo and Lustre were among the standout celebrities at the ABS-CBN Ball, with the “She’s Dating the Gangster” donning a brown wrap gown by Anthony Ramirez. She allowed her ethereal beauty to shine through a classic makeup look paired with wavy tresses.

Bernardo and Lustre were previously accompanied by their ex-boyfriends Daniel Padilla and James Reid, respectively, at the past editions of the ABS-CBN Ball. Since confirming their breakups, they have been basking in the success of their solo careers.
Bernardo’s recent projects include the films “Hello, Love, Again” with Alden Richards and “A Very Good Girl” with Dolly de Leon, and is one of the judges of “Pilipinas Got Talent’s” seventh season. She was also one of the standouts at the “Body of Work” fashion show in March.
Her recent plums include the Snow Leopard Rising Star at the Asian World Film Festival, Best Actress in a Leading Role at the Asian Academy Creative Awards, and the FAMAS 2024 Best Actress, to name a few.
Lustre, on the other hand, starred in the films “Nokturno” and the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2024 entry “Uninvited.” She was also the lead star for the web series “Roadkillers.”
The award-winning actress’ recent citations are FAMAS Best Actress in 2023 and an acting nod from the Metro Manila Film Festival and Gawad Urian Award.
